Review of ‘Ryan’s Return’ by Barbara Freethy

Ryan's Return
If you like an easy read with a predictable ending, then you will like this book. Ryan, the black sheep of the family returns to his hometown, uncertain of his reception from a father who he hasn’t spoken to for years and townsfolk who have only ever heard one side of the story. He meets up with Kara, someone he hasn’t seen since she was a child. When the storm arrives and the raging river threatens to engulf them, the families are drawn together, to fight the torrent and in doing so, learn to forgive the past and look to the future.
