Everyone Has A Story

The deadline is approaching.
So many words to find.
Plots and scenes and characters,
Vying for space in your mind.
Chapters written and re-written.
Remember to ‘show not tell.’
And the most important of all,
Make sure that you can spell.
Don’t use too many words,
Such as, ‘is’ and ‘had’ and ‘been.’
Sentences mustn’t be too long.
The plot carried through every scene.
Everyone has a story in them,
If we’re to believe what we’re told.
But how many of us write that story?
How many of our books are sold?
